Christopher Morris (1958 - )

NYC Subway, 1981.
“I had just moved to New York City and I became fascinated with the total urban decay that was the underground subway of New York. Late ’80s, early ’90s–the city had pretty much eliminated the graffiti problem,” Morris says. “The graffiti tagging inside the trains was for sure out of control. But the exterior train murals are truly brilliant, something that made the platforms come alive when they would roll into the station.”
